LAVIE - THE 60’S

LAVIE had her first solo show at Galería Acquavella in Caracas. The exhibition featured oils on linen and eight works of caseins utilizing watercolor techniques. In her oil still lifes, she showed certain Informalism, especially with the textures achieved by using spatulas instead of brushes. This decade marked her desire to create her own art, free of influences.
